Engaging our membership

FULHAM SUPPORTERS TRUST (FST).

Hayley Davinson | Copy & content writing

As a community-benefit society group, the FST exists to represent all supporters' views, having regular meetings with the Club to ensure a wide range of issues are discussed and fan views are always represented - for issues of all sizes from ticket pricing to the quality of matchday experience.

The work

As a board member, I use my experience to help the FST achieve the following:

  • Communicate the important work that the board do on behalf of their members via a monthly newsletter

  • Create web copy with opinion pieces and information that is of use to Fulham fans and the wider football community

  • Research and understand the groups we currently don’t have enough participation from, and find ways to work better as a Trust and a club to reach those groups. This work saw the creation of the Fulham Lillies.

I joined the Supporters Trust board as football - and my supported team, Fulham - has always been my very own community which I care deeply about.

Since joining, I’ve been able to combine my love of content marketing and community building by introducing an email newsletter to engage with our members, and creating thought-provoking opinion pieces for our website, including these examples about championing our female players and watching the development of women's football.
